Product and service provisions

• OfficeDesignsOutlet.com will repair or replace (at its option) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty or sold after February 1, 2008, which fails under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship.
• OfficeDesignsOutlet.com will repair or replace the aforementioned product, part, or component with a comparable product, part, or component.
• Any product, part, or component must have been installed and maintained according to OfficeDesignsOutlet.com instructions in order to be eligible for coverage under this warranty and must not have been subject to misuse or abuse.
• Normal wear and tear is not considered a defect; OfficeDesignsOutlet.com does not warrant the colorfastness or matching of the colors, or textures of these natural materials or textiles.
• This warranty extends only to the original purchasers who acquire a certified, pre-owned product from OfficeDesignsOutlet.com.

Mirra Chair Detailed Description

Tilt Tension & Pneumatic Height
The Mirra Chair has combined the pneumatic lever and tension knob into one adjustment mechanism for ease of use. The standard height adjustment range is 16-20.5 inches. Nine step tilt-tension provides a versatile range of tension adjustment.

Total Back Support
Mirra's central spine construction supports the frame less back. It allows for torsional flex and freedom of movement. The geometric shapes in the chair's back are calibrated to create flex zones that adjust to to the sitter's height and shape automatically to provide proper back support.

Adjustable Arms
Optional adjustable armrests are available on the Mirra Chair. Armrest height range- 4 inches, Armrest pivot range- 11 degrees.

Synchronous Tilt
Mirra's sychronous tilt has ankle and hip pivot points that mimic the body's movements, providing a high level of comfort for the sitter. The extended recline of 26 degrees doesn't require extra force to hold its position, allowing the user to maintain a reclined position.

One Size Fits Most
The Mirra Chair has been designed to fit a diverse range of sizes. From the 5th percentile female to the 95th percentile male, Mirra can accommodate up to 300 lbs. with its passive (basic) adjustments. With its active adjustments (fully-loaded), Mirra allows users to fine-tune the chair to their liking.

Earth Friendly Construction
Mirra is Herman Miller's first chair designed in accordance with the Design for Environment (DfE) process. It is 96% recyclable and constructed of 42% recycled content.

Custom Seat Comfort
The AireWeave™ mesh seat material stretches in all directions to flex with the movements of the user. It evenly distributes the sitter's weight, allowing for minimal pressure points and greater comfort. Optional FlexFront™ seat depth option increases fit flexibility. This adjusts from the front of the chair, keeping the user in the seat pocket so the level of back support is consistent, eliminating the gap between the back and the sitter.

'Mini Mirra' Tilt-Limiter
Mirra's forward seat angle shifts the resting angle of the chair four degrees forward for task intensive work. The tilt limiter limits your motion to four positions: fully-upright, fully-reclined, halfway between upright and reclined, and the forward positions. The unique 'Mini-Mirra' adjustment lever also gives a visual indication of how the adjustment changes the angle of the back or seat of the chair.

Receives "Best of NeoCon" 2003 Gold Award

For the past 35 years NeoCon® has been the worlds' trade fair for interior design and facilities managements. Hosted in the famed Merchandise Mart in Chicago since 1969, NeoCon has brought commercial and residential furnishings manufacturers, design professionals and the leaders in corporations together for sharing knowledge, design and information technology.

Fifty-two Gold and Silver Awards were distributed in The Best of NeoCon competition of contract furnishings products during NeoCon at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago. Five Innovation Awards, an Editors' Choice Award, and a Best of Competition Award also were selected.

Two hundred forty-seven products were entered in 28 product and furnishings categories in the competition, sponsored annually by Facilities Design & Management magazine, Contract magazine, The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc.

The jury is composed of 20 corporate, government, and institutional facilities management executives and business facilities interior designers who are responsible for selecting and buying furniture and furnishings for their specific organizations or their clients'. The five jury teams visited Merchandise Mart showrooms and temporary Market Suites to examine each product in person, rather than judging products based on photo or slide images. Each manufacturer had the opportunity to explain and discuss details of the entered product and answer jurors' questions.

NeoCon judges selected the Herman Miller Mirra Chair as the best new product in Seating: Desk / Workstation Task Chairs.

The Humanscale Liberty side chair was recently awarded the Best of NeoCon 2005 Gold Award in the Guest Seating category.
